As a Retention Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our clients stay protected while maximizing their benefits and discounts.
Position Overview
We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Retention Specialist to strengthen client relationships, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure long-term policyholder satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include assist clients with their renewal process and questions, conducting policy reviews, bundling Allstate services whenever applicable to enhance savings, and proactively addressing client needs to maximize loyalty and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain long-term relationships with policyholders through regular check-ins, policy reviews, and proactive communication.
Ensure a smooth renewal process – Conduct thorough reviews of existing policies to ensure adequate coverage and identify opportunities for bundling additional Allstate products for enhanced discounts during the annual renewal process.
Retention & Loyalty – Minimize policy cancellations and lapses by addressing customer concerns, offering personalized solutions, and reinforcing the value of Allstate’s comprehensive coverage.
Sales & Cross-Selling – Educate clients on Allstate’s full suite of insurance products, including auto, home, life, and business insurance, to expand coverage and improve customer satisfaction.
Problem-Solving & Customer Service – Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining Allstate’s commitment to excellence.
Compliance & Industry Knowledge – Stay up to date on Allstate policies, state regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and informed recommendations.

What We’re Looking For:
Insurance Expertise – Prior experience in insurance sales, customer retention, or a similar role. Strong understanding of Allstate products and services preferred.
Sales & Customer Service Skills – A proven track record in sales, account management, or customer success. Ability to confidently recommend additional coverages.
Licensing Preferred – Candidates with an active Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred.
People-Oriented & Proactive – A natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with clients and helping them make informed decisions.
Goal-Driven & Detail-Oriented – Strong organizational skills and a results-driven mindset. Ability to meet retention and sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
